I used this a few years back to extract text and graphics from PDFs my
then-company had acquired with some external IP from a defunct company (no
sources available). It does a credible job with both text and graphics
visually, but if the PDF is anything more elaborate than vanilla inline text and
images, you'll end up with each group of text and each graphic in a separate
floating box with no flow between any of them and you'll need to recreate the
layout in whatever app you're transferring the doc to.
