Unfortunately this economy has taken it's toll on the tech writer. I got
back into tech writing after getting laid off from 2 jobs one not much
after I started the other. I made a change to get out for a bit. And,
after living on minimum wage I finally had enough. Went back to tech
writing to at least make a living.
I will tell you I took a big pay cut from what I was making. But, as was
said, something that pays decent is better than $0. I have to admit, I
am not at the 39k level thank goodness. I do think I deserve more for my
background. I didn't like taking the pay cut, but at least I am back
doing what I enjoy.
