Or call attention to the paragraph you have inserted in a FAKE FIRST PAGE from a fake version of the doc (a genuinely fake one, not kept with in actual doc's storage area) that proclaims, "If you experience any problems with this product or its documentation, please telephone DEVELOPER'S NAME at DEVELOPER'S ACTUAL CELL PHONE NUMBER any time, day or night."
That'll get some sort of action.
But I'd make sure to have a bit of fallback employment in place before trying it on any but the most laid-back of developers.
