I'm neither a contract expert nor an attorney. However, whenever I get
something like this in a contract, I either cross it out (and initial
it), or I modify it to include pertinent details (for example, "for
works performed during billable time" or "excluding works created on
personal time").
No one has ever said anything. (Obviously, YMMV.)
