Just a quick word on system requirements for Moodle: While it is web
based, it is not as easy of a setup as Wordpress. You need full system
access in order to install Moodle, as by default it requires content
storage areas in different locations outside the web root. I set a
system to try on my home server, but never got beyond the initial
install.

Before you go any further, what's the extent of your training
material? Are you looking for a complete Learning Management System
that incorporates assessment modules, or merely a system for
presenting screencasts?
