I worked on contract for a company that used Seapine in one of the
departments. I don't see it much different than Sharepoint, really.
Binary files don't suffer the same diff and merge problems. When you
restore previous versions, there is no diff. It's just replaced.
They all do the same thing. You will only see marked benefits of
source code control when you work directly with XML files saved as
text. But hey, business process always trumps best practice sometimes.
