My client balks at publishing a Word doc saved as pdf because she doesn't like the way certain tables look on screen (at some resolutions there are little "tick" marks visible), though the doc prints fine.

I'm exploring the possibility of publishing instead as a Word doc locked down as "final" (click the Word icon, click "Prepare," click "Mark as Final").

I'm wondering about the pros and cons of publishing this way (Word "final") versus publishing as a pdf, and would appreciate any thoughts.

Thanks,

Matt
