I did search the Adobe forums and found some scattered mentions of
problems with PDFs correctly launching external files after upgrading to
Acrobat 9.3.4.

We have a PDF that lists out all our documents and a summary of the
information in each document, and that PDF has a button to launch a .pdx
searchable index of all the documents. It was working file when we
created it with 9.3.3, but now when it is trying to launch (in 9.3.4) a
file that is actually in the path "Folder\File.pdx" it gives an error
that it can't open "Folder/File.pdx" (and of course you can't open it
you silly program, when you try to switch around forward slashes and
back slashes like that!).

Can anyone get it to work in 9.3.4?
