It might be appropriate to sniff out why the manager wants to think
about using FM instead of Word. Does he have optomistic perceptions of
the appearance of the result? Does it fit into a grand scheme for
"upgrading" the company's software? Does he have money to burn? Is he
trying to avoid Microsoft? Has someone offered him a copy of FM 4 for an
irresistably low price? Was he told it will run on Solaris? Has his
brother-in-law's nephew's girlfriend said that it runs circles around Word?

The idea of doing a mockup of a FM doc in Word makes me think that mauve
has more RAM.
