We have a Nook Color and a Nook tablet in our house. No real reason except that there is a B&N in our town and we got good deals on them (at different times).
I buy from B&N and also from Amazon if the book isn't available for the Nook. I use Calibre software to convert from Kindle to Nook with no problems so far.
