No. I've been clicking the Quick Mask Mode button and attempting to "paint
over" the object on a new layer, as outlined in Lesson 6 of Adobe's
Photoshop Classroom In a Book. This method is terribly tedious and grossly
inaccurate.

It appears I've overlooked the Magic Wand tool and am going to try that
lesson after lunch.
