Oh nice. It's not just the password on LinkedIn we need to change, we need to change our passwords *everywhere* we have used the same email and password combination we used on LinkedIn.

Let's come up with a super secure password and share it. That would probably be more secure than what LinkedIn did. If you got a system with millions of users and security to protect those user accounts, then you should use all security options available to protect those accounts. How hard would it have been to use a hash salt or to use advanced security protocols that are not close to deprecation?
