3. Click the "Share this calendar" link. Check "Make this calendar public" or enter an
email address in the "Share with specific people" section. If you chose the former,
also check "Share only my free/busy information (Hide details)"; if the latter, set
Permission Settings to "See only free/busy (hide details)".

Hmm; I'm finally getting to this, and it's not working as I'd hoped. Per your excellent advice, I'm first working with it to sync my Outlook calendar with my personal gmail calendar, the same as I'd planned to do with syncing Outlook to my msemp@<client-1.com> gmail calendar.

And so the options about making this calendar public don't apply because my <client-1.com> calendar is of course viewable by everyone at <client-1.com> -- that's the whole purpose after all. And people at <client-1> should not have to go find a shared calendar; they need to be able to schedule a meeting with me by looking at my <client-1.com> gmail calendar.

And I certainly do not want to have the details of all my personal appointments and meetings with other clients visible on my <client-1> gmail calendar! I just want them to show "busy" or some such thing.

Anyone have any suggestions?
