Hi All,

I am getting increasingly frustrated with Thunderbird. I loved it in the beginning, but with each new update, and passage of time, it gets slower and slower. I'm guessing it is because I have so much mail. I don't toss anything, and put everything in numerous files, and store it.

I really, REALLY, don't want to back to outlook. I have to manage 4-5 different email addresses (for different purposes). So I'm hoping someone who is more tech savy in this area can give wise advice (which will probably be relevant to many of us):

1. Do you use a different SW to manage your email? If so, what and why?

2. If you use Thuderbird, how can I store my very old emails somewhere else so its not so heavy, and open them ONLY if I need them (similar to having .pst files that I can open/close).

3. Any other suggestions/ideas?

Thanks in advance

Deborah
