TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
There was a wealth of information in the article and its reference and
links. I use Git (to edit user scenarios, text strings, translation files,
etc. that our developers put into repos on GitHub) as part of my work and
this provided a better understanding of some of the details of Git. We just
started using a wiki authoring tool, so unfortunately we can't use Git with
it (yet ...) as we are discovering that its version management capabilities
are less than desired.
Very interesting ideas! I signed up for 'em all!
