Re: geo-fence or geofence or geo fence?
Google Geo seems to be a slang umbrella label for all their
map-related projects (Google Maps, Google Places, Google Earth, etc.).
I don't see that they actually use it as a word. And they use
geofence, no hyphen or space.
Maybe Google can come up with some sort of umbrella term for all of its Google Earth Objects that can sound like a word but not be a word, so it can be trademarked, and then maybe some technical writers can talk about on it on a public forum that can get the term out there on the internets, like an ad.
Hey, what about "GEO"? No wait, Chevrolet had that.
...Hmmm, the mind wobbles.
