I thought I'd come across as an old fuddy-duddy, but they find them as
annoying and time-wasting as I do.

Occasionally, a video can be pretty handy. But it should probably have subtitles and a transcript, so you can move to a particular point, or get back there, to see some tricky aspect.

Yes, of course there shouldn't be tricky things - but...
