Hi,

We are currently evaluating tools to create and publish product documentation online with access mostly via excellent search.

My previous experience is with DITA solutions, or prior to that, a simple webhelp publication.

I wanted to hear opinions from tech writers with experience creating documentation using MindTouch.

I have only tried it briefly as part of an evaluation, but on first appearance its wiki-like editor concerned me.

Can anyone please offer their insights and experiences with MindTouch?

Specifically:

* How well does it cope with multiple SME reviews of an article/topic?

* How easily can you define global character styles?

* How easy is it to create numbered steps? Can you customize the look?

* How good is their online search?

* What are the biggest pros and cons with this platform?

Many thanks for any and all contributions.

Best wishes,

Lawrence Orin
