Subject:Re: Footers in Microsoft Word 2013 From:Steve Hudson <sh1448291904 -at- gmail -dot- com> To:"Hogan, Jessica" <Jessica -dot- HerefordHogan -at- nelnet -dot- net> Date:Tue, 7 Jul 2015 18:29:55 +0800
The problem is the formatting is being overwritten by the content you
are importing. The best solution is a little VBA to go through each
section, and set every (there are 3 of each) header and footer
compliantly.
Run said VBA as your last step.

I've tried everything I can think of including: maintaining consistent margins, using the link to previous function, and starting in a prepared template where the footers are perfect! What I end up with is missing footers, mis-numbered footers, migrating images (such as our logo in the footer), text overlapping the footer, etc. If you can dream it, my footers have mucked up in that way. I haven't found any meaningful advice online, and this can't continue. Please help!
