Although I don't see much value in the STC certification, I do think the
STC Salary Database is highly worthwhile. It can be helpful in negotiating
salaries. Without it, hiring managers depend on sources published in
Glassdoor and other online sites, which mostly tell you "average" salaries.
The STC salary database does a nice job publishing the range of salaries at
different percentiles. It is also very specific to geographic regions.
