I have multiple documents that have TOCs and XREFs in them. I need to
update both, but when I select all and press F9, the only option it gives
me is to update the TOC. If I select everything BUT the TOC, it doesn't
give me an option to update fields at all, even though there are at least a
dozen XREFs in the document.

What am I doing wrong, and how do I fix it?
