Re: Colons versus periods in procedures containing illustrations
So far the consensus seems to be using the period. Now, is there a style^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
guide that actually SPECIFIES this, or do I just rely on "this is a full
complete sentence"?

illustration after the text.
Do you end the text part of the step with a period or a colon, and why?
