TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
I think Chris has a really good point. When I look at resumes, I tend to discount people who make mistakes on products. For instance, SnagIt is one of the most popular tech writing tool and most people spell it wrong.
If you can't take the time to correctly spell products in your resume, how careful will you be with the documentation you write? It could even have legal consequences when you don't pay attention to things like that and trademarks.
Thanks Chris for just sayin'...

I live on LinkedIn. Being sharp techwriters, we should note that it is LinkedIn, not Linked-In nor LinkedIN.
Just sayin'...
And best of luck to you, John.
