Further to this: Microsoft has been light years ahead of the
handwriting recognition game for a long time. I'm still upset that I can't
use my iPad entirely in handwriting mode. I used to use my Windows Tablet
PC in slate mode.

The ink panel is awesome. When I needed to type a URL, I just pop open the
ink panel, handwrite the URL, and boom--instant text!
