In the realm of Process Documentation.... versus "tell them everything
there is to know about this product..." I was wondering about my project
to write new Help here at school for Internet/Bitnet access....

What CAN you do on the Nets?

I keep asking Gurus, and they always ask me "Well, whattya wanna do?"

That's the problem with Gurus..... and they usually refer me to reference
manuals which can be had online if you FTP somewhere.....

"Oh, so, like, how do I FTP?"

"Whattya wanna get?"

Aaargh!

So I guess I'll go around and ASK, in here, and on other lists....
(The one time I FTP'd a document I was told I needed, it was about a
megabyte in size, and completely inaccessible or savable outta my
mailbox... and, of course,t here's no documentation on our system.... But
I hafta write that very documentation for the REST OF THE KIDS....)

What CAN one do on the Nets?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
