If you're trapped in a DOS-based network (such as Banyan Vines) and that
little piece of hell isn't letting you change the message headers, there's
a solution:

Type up the mail message you want in a straight ASCII format -- be it
an editor (like the DOS 5.0 editor) or a word processor that can convert
to raw ASCII. Then go into mail and attach the file into a new message.

That way you can put in whatever subject you want since you're creating
a new message.
