RE - CD ROMs and online doc thread:

FrameMaker offers a good route for developing online documentation.
Navigation tools are easy to create within the document files. Files are
multi-platform with no special conversions needed when crossing platforms
(an important consideration when building a distribution for CD-ROM).

We offer two tools to help FrameMaker users produce online documents:

FM2A - converts FrameMaker docs to fully-formatted ascii text streams.
(Tables are rendered as tables.) This is excellent for non-graphic
displays, emailing, posting the contents of a FrameMaker document, and
so.

HyperGen - augments the toc/index/cross-reference linking built-in to
FrameMaker 4.0 by linking user-defined targets. HyperGen also has a
number of other unique features.
