I both agree and disagree with Mark L. Levinson: a user should never
never never hit a key (heard some possibly fallacious story about
some poor user actually using a hammer to whack the keyboard).
But I do tell them to press a key.
I make a clear distinction between pressing a key and _holding_ a key
down. That might help solve the problem of pressing a key for too long.
