Andreas Ramos writes (in part)...

>"By adopting the techie position, which seems to exclude women, in that
>women don't read computer magazines, and I'd venture to say, don't read
>manuals either..."

That's because of that neat intuitive thing we women have,
you know? We just place our hands on the keyboard and wait for
information to flow through our fingertips. Voila--instant
comprehension. But since it's intuitive, it's kinda hard to explain
to you guys.

Really, there's a great deal that's disturbing in the summary Andreas
originally posted. For instance, do we want to teach girls that the
computer is nothing more than a kind of super typewriter, as the
following excerpt suggests?

"Girls take their homework seriously. The computer can make it faster,
cleaner, and better-written. Girls enjoy useful projects, such as
tallying a survey, creating artwork, and making school decorations."

And ladies, let's not forget those recipes.
