I currently support a utility who uses IBM BookMaster/BookManager tools
to publish documents in both electronic and paper format. We are under
considerable pressure to identify a workstation based tool to replace
the dependency on an IBM Mainframe for this purpose.
Is there anyone on this list currently using any tool for primarily or
at least heavy electronic distribution? What products do you use? Why?
Has anyone migrated FROM BookMaster/BookManager to a workstation based
tool? Finally, does anyone know of a Mail List dedicated to electronic
publishing, hypertext, etc.? If not, is there interest in getting one
begun?
Thanks.
