and one less obvious to a non Australian - Thip Thai which is pronounced
"tip tie". "Tip" is localese for rubbish dump as in: See you later, the
trailer's full, I'm taking the garden prunings to the tip.
I'm sure the proprietors don't mean Thip Thai to be amusing - it is a very
classy and successful establishment - but I smile as I drive by every morning.
