WHITHER THE NET?

Elizabeth Weise, writer of the "On the Net" column, which appears in
about 15 newspapers, including the business section of the San
Francisco Examiner on every other Monday, will talk about several
aspects and trends on the Internet, including the increasing
commercialization of cyberspace, one-to-many versus many-to-many
forms of communication, and people's need for community.

WHEN: Wednesday, August 17, 1994
6:00 p.m.: Networking and hors d'oeuvres
6:45 p.m.: Program
Meetings are usually on the third Wednesday of the
month
