...and "my" vs. "mine"; "thy" vs. "thine"....

Here are some salient quotes from the King James Translation of
Psalms 119 and the Book of Proverbs:

PSALMS 119:
11: "Thy word have I hid in mine heart...."
32: "...when thou shalt enlarge my heart."

157: "Many are my persecutors and mine enemies...."
161: "...but my heart standeth in awe of thy word."

PROVERBS:
1:9: "...an ornament of grace unto thy head...."
2:2: "...incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart...."
3:27: "...in the power of thine hand to do it."
4:21: "...keep them in the midst of thine heart."
4:23: "Keep thy heart with all diligence...."
5:9: "Lest thou give thine honour unto others...."
6:18: "An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations...."
15:19: "...an hedge of thorns...."
16:18: "...an haughty spirit before a fall."
16:19: "...an humble spirit with the lowly...."
16:2: "...an honeycomb, sweet to the soul...."
17:1: "...an house full of sacrifices...."
17:10: "...an hundred stripes into a fool."
20:3: "It is an honour for a man to cease from strife...."
20:9: "...I have made my heart clean...."
20:13: "...open thine eyes...."
21:4: "An high look...."
22:17: "Bow down thine ear...and apply thine heart...."

23:18: "...and thine expectation shall not be cut off...."
24:14: "...and thy expectation shall not be cut off...."

24:27: "...and afterwards build thine house."
25:20: "...he that singeth songs to an heavy heart."
27:10: "Thine own friend, and thy father's friend, forsake not...."
27:11: "...make my heart glad...."
27:23: "...look well to thy herds...."

Comparing Psalms 199:11 with v. 32, and Proverbs 23:28 with 24:14,
reminds me of the quote which I attribute to Francis Bacon in an
essay titled "Of Gardens": "A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin
of little minds." (If that quote isn't accurate, I'd appreciate
being corrected.)
