As a side note, I had the good fortune to attend a Tufte seminar in Boston
last year. He is every bit as informative, insightful, and entertaining as
his books would suggest. Information design and presentation, we find, is
often more important than content.
And, yes, the posters and books are given out to seminar attendees.
