We RoboHELP users have seen this one before, even with block-paragraph text,
and yes -- it's a bug, and there is a solution. According to the RoboHELP
technical support people, this is a problem with the Microsoft Windows Help
compiler, which doesn't pick up the way Word 6.0 implements tab rulers. I
would recommend calling their help line at 800-677-4WIN and asking for the
hanging indent FAX, but here's a summary:
When you create a bulleted list, for every item add an extra, superfluous tab
stop somewhere past where you need it, but a different tabstop for every item
in the list. It doesn't matter where you put it. The Help compiler sees the
extra tab stops and writes the tab ruler, and it fixes the problem.
