Subject:Win Help Authoring Systems- Recommendations? From:The Tech Writer <techwrtr -at- CRL -dot- COM> Date:Thu, 16 Mar 1995 20:09:46 -0800
I'm new to this group, so maybe this question has already been hashed out
(if so, feel free to send me old posts if you've got 'em).
I'm looking at possibly buying an online documentation system. I'm told
by a fellow tech writer, who is researching the different systems, that
Robo-Help seems to be the best. However, I went to the Writer in the
Workplace conference this past weekend, and saw a demo of Doc2Help, and
*that* seemed really great.
Any advice? I know that Doc2Help has a student discount that brings the
package price down to $250 (which is still a little past this student's
reach), but I don't know if any of the others do.
All responses are appreciated!
