We're looking for a intern to assist us in producing data books and product
bulletins.
Duration: 3 months (may be extended to 5 months)
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 20-25 hours/week.
Location: Fremont, California
Company: Cirrus Logic, Inc. Cirrus is a fast-growing semiconductor company
with a broad portfolio of multimedia technologies.
Job Duties: Write (mostly rewriting) and edit technical source
documentation; create simple block diagrams; perform standardization edit to
ensure compliance with company style guide; produce on-line documents using
Novell's Envoy (similar to Adobe's Acrobat); and general formatting etc.
Qualifications: Candidate for a B.S. in Engineering, English, or Journalism.
Technical writing coursework preferred.
Tools: Windows, FrameMaker 4.0 (preferred), Word 6.0, Envoy/Acrobat, Visio,
and Excel.
