I find it highly ironic that you spent so much ink bashing the
entire list for the actions of a few of their members. Uhh...
'scuse me, but isn't that the very crime of which you were
accusing THEM? Punishing your students because of the work of
the "big-boned" writer? Glad you teach Tech Writing and not
Logic.

It's painful to realize that at a university, of all places--
a place that should be a center for expanding human awareness--
someone responsible for molding young minds is standing on a
soapbox and yelling, "I ACCEPT NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY OWN
ACTIONS OR THOSE OF MY GROUP." How American. How 90s. How sad.

I certainly hope, for your sake and ours, that after you calm
down you will reconsider your decision to unsubscribe. When I
was 7 years old, my mother referred to this as the "I'm Taking
My Ball And Going Home" method of resolving baseball disputes.
