-> Bad example. The above sentence is a literal translation of Julius
-> Caesar's motto, "Veni, vedi, vici." Literal translations from a foriegn
-> tongue can not be counted when discussing English sentence

I came, saw, and conquered.

or

I came, saw and conquered.

also,

I conquered after coming and seeing.

And, just for variety,

To conquer:

o Open the "Come" menu.
o Select "See"
o Select your preference in the "Conquering" property sheet.
o Click "OK" to save your changes and continue.

Note: If the "Conquering" operation is not successful,
the system will display an error message. There are
two types of errors: Fatal errors and Non-Fatal errors.

Fatal errors:

A fatal error means your conquering operation failed,
and cannot be recovered. Save all your work, close
all open applications, and retreat as soon as possible.

Non-Fatal errors:

A non-fatal error means your conquering operation
failed but can be recovered under some conditions.

Click the "Help" button for an explanation of the
error, and the recommended solutions.

Make note of the suggestions in the Help window, then
click "Retry" to re-enter your conquering parameters,
or click "Quit" to abandon your conquering attempt.
