I've read several postings recently about TWers getting involved in
interface design. Me too. One of the problems I have is how to fit all the
fields into a window of reasonable size, which leads to my question: how
much space to allow for a character field that accepts, say, 25
alphanumerics in the normal proportional Windows system font. Does anyone
know a rule of thumb?

Thanks, Chris

PS. could someone send me that hilarious "meat" posting - I zapped it by
mistake.
