TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
"Who steals my purse steals trash ..... But he that
filches from me my good name robs me of that which
not enriches him, and makes me poor indeed."
But not to worry. Uncle Sam will save us from the
name stealers. Deborah Runkle of the American Association
for the Advancement of Science in Washington and others
just received a grant to study the "ethical, legal, and
social implications of anonymity and pseudonymity on the
Internet."
I don't think we need verification of posts unless the
problem gets a lot worse.
