TECHNICAL WRITER
Hilco Technologies, Inc., is a rapidly growing supplier of commercial
software products and services and a state-of-the-art leader in UNIX-based
Computer Integrated Manufacturing solutions. Hilco products are used
internationally by Fortune 500-type companies in a variety of industries.
Hilco has received its ISO 9001/TickIT certification.

RESPONSIBILITIES: This highly visible position requires a creative problem
solver who can work as part of a team to design, write and manage software
user documentation. Help move the organization into Windows online help,
while learning Hilco's software products and tools (FrameMaker, X-Windows,
UNIX). Support Hilco documentation standards. Move into the new PC
environment with Windows/NT expertise. Write documentation, release notes,
product announcements and customer letters for new releases and new products.

QUALIFICATIONS: Prefer a BA degree or equivalent work experience in
technical writing, English, journalism or technical communications, or BS
degree in Engineering/Computer Science. Minimum 2 years experience in
developing software user manuals; understanding of UNIX-based software
desirable, and Windows help development (NT/95). Reserach and interview skills.
