OK. Here goes. If anybody isn't put off by my message of yesterday, please don't

The Job
-------
Duration: 3 month contract, possibility of extending contract further. The job
is based in our office in Borehamwood, UK. We need someone *URGENTLY*!

US WEST International Systems Group is a software developer, developing tools
for use in all stages of designing, building and maintaining digital mobile
telephone networks.

This contract involves documenting a network management tool for use in GSM/PCN
networks. Some documentation exists in MS Word 6, and needs to be imported into
Frame and updated for a new release. We use FrameMaker 5.0 on Sun and HP
workstations.

I've listed below required and preferred skills.


REQUIRED
--------------------------
Good working knowledge of Framemaker (we use Frame 5.0 on Sun
workstations)
Unix (pref. Solaris/CDE or HP-UX (VUE))
Knowledge of Client/Server Systems
Min. 1 year industrial writing experience

PREFERRED SKILLS
----------------
Experience of working in a Software Development environment
Experience of documenting Network Management applications
RDBMS (Oracle preferred)
Knowledge of GSM/PCN systems

Candidates will be asked to perform a brief writing test in which they
will be asked to document a small part of the application User Interface. No
previous knowledge of Network Management/Cellular Network applications is
required for this task.
