I believe there is a way to look in your .ini file or your other system
files. Search for Password. When you find it, just delete it and save the
file, it should be gone. It has been awhile I had to do that, but that
seems right to me.

Hello Fellow Technical Writers:

I am fairly new to this field and have join the list to learn, grow
and contribute as much as I can.

I recently inherited a 486 machine. The person who previously used
the machine is no longer with the company but had set a password on
the screen saver in control panel of windows.

Since I am currently working on a sensitive project for my company, I
would like to use the password feature. However, I have not figured
out how to have the system accept a new password without my putting in
the old password...which I don't know.

I would appreciate receiving suggestions on how to get around putting
in the old password or will I have to re-install Windows to get a
fresh start?

Thanks for you help!!
