I inadverently left two things off the summary list

Marlene Miller sent copies of two articles from her chapter newsletter.
The first article "Getting Started with Windows Help." by Ben Weisner
(reprinted from Volume 2 Number 1 of the _The Edge_, the STC Newletter for
the Advanced Technology Professional Interest Committee.) listed some
sources for window help information and software.

Weisner's article mentions the following software:
Robohelp from Blue Sky Software Corp. (702-456-6365)
Doc-To-Help from Waxtech Systems (212-949-9595)
Windows Help Magician from Software Interphase (800-542-2742).

Weisner's article also mentioned the Boggan, Farkas, and Welinske book
_Developing Online Help for Windows_, and the Microsoft _Windows Help
Authoring Guide_ which is distributed through the Microsoft Developer
Network.

Weisner also mainitains a website for people who develop on-line help. The
URL is http://www.primenet.com/~wai.

The second article, "On-line Help for Beginners: WHAT Are You Waiting For,"
appeared in the STC Pittsburgh Chapter newsletter, Blue Pencil, February
1996.

Mohr listed the following information for beginners:
To get a copy of the Windows Help Authoring Tool (ver. 6) it can be
downloaded from Microsoft' s Download service (206-936-6735) or from the
following web sites:

or htttp://www.gmu.edu/pub/winhelp/what6.exe
