It's vice versa time again! A perennial favorite. Ta-ra-ra-boom-tee-ay...

NO offense intended; this is a worthwhile subject. Well, the *second*
part of the query is worthwhile. An opinion: "vice versa" is kosher only
if the passage is extremely short and simple, and the meaning is
blindingly clear: "select the text and then the bolding tool, or vice
versa." Anything more complicated or wordy than that, and you should
avoid using the expression: "select the text and then choose the bolding
tool, or choose the tool and then select the text."
