Hi team and Tim

>At the chapter meeting tonight, the subject arose of international style
guides. I'm not really talking about something like Microsoft's >guide,
which is basically intended to smooth translations, but something much more
complete, like a Chicago Manual of Style for >overseas use, that would have
such things as international editing symbols, printer conventions, and
typical culturally-based >preferences for numbering sequences and similar
things. Does anybody know of such an ambitious work?

I have just ordered the British Standards Institute Online Standards
Document which has just been published. Use code BS7830 when ordering. Their
facsimile number is + 44 181 9967001.

I have not found any documents / manuals / books in New Zealand or Australia
that could help me.
