two spaces after a full stop. No!

Subject: two spaces after a full stop. No!

The amount of space needed after a stop is, or should be, built into a
font's kerning table for such pairs as <full stop><space>, <comma><space>, &c.

There may be exceptional cases where more or less than the designed amount
of space is needed, but <space><space> shouldn't be the general rule.

Have we a tame type designer on this list? Wild type designers byte <g,d, & r>.
