Naaah. Just wait it out.

Like every other topic, the flurry of activity will fade after a bit. The
new folks will be interested in the thread, and some of the oldtimers will
enjoy the opportunity to pontificate.

I might even check in once in a while to see if there's anything
new---skipped the last two rounds, after all---invested in email software
that has a good filter system, and just deleted the suckers.
