Lego.  My all-time favourite documentation for kids' toys comes from Lego.
Clear, easy to follow, and accurate.  No words, just pictures. We've
occasionally had a couple of pieces left over, but we've never been shorted
according to the instructions.  My sons are big Lego fans.
